FARMINGTON — Lizzie Opal Lacy, 81, of Farmington died July 22, 2000, at her home. She was born Dec. 14, 1918, at Asher to John David and Mattie Murphy Drain. She was retired from Campbell Soup Co. after 30 years of service. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Lacy.
Survivors include two sons and two daughters-in-law, Denver Dean Lacy and Tayna and Gerald Lacy and Wilma, all of Farmington; one brother, Roy Drain of McKinleyville, Calif.; one sister, Hester Saunders of Orland, Calif.; three grandchildren, Tina Samples of Flower Mound, Texas, Julie Phillips of Fayetteville and Gretta Combs of Farmington; seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville with the Rev. David J. Phillips. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
