MOUNTAIN VIEW – Alma Beatrice Dix, 86, of Conroe, Texas, formerly of Mountain View, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2001, at Conroe.
Born Sept. 8, 1914, at Linsdale in Izard County, she was the daughter of Theodore W. “Dode” Sullivan and Della Cantrell Sullivan. She was a homemaker and a retired cashier. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, John Dix Jr. of Conroe; a sister, Audra Cook of El Dorado; a granddaughter, Karri Lewis of Conroe; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Roller Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Mountain View with the Rev. Randy Long officiating. Burial will be in Levisy Flat Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Harold Talburt, Harold Talburt Jr., Lawson Barnes, Bradley Barnes, Lona Ackerman and A.C. Thomas.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. James E. Zini and Dr. Bill Nixon.
