Evelyn W. Turner Robinette, 85, of Conway went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 8, 2012. She was born Thursday, July 7, 1927 in Conway to the late Clyde C. Turner and the late Maudie Viola Sellers Turner.
Mrs. Robinette and her husband George were the owners of Robinette's Jewelry in Conway for over 25 years, a member of Wesley United Methodist Church for over 60 years where she was a member of the Keenagers Quilting Circle, and a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Robinette; a brother, Cecil Turner; and sisters, Oleta Hairston, Pauline Neely and Viola Hairston.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Bruce Robinette and wife Pat of Little Rock and Calvin Robinette and wife Cindy of Conway; daughters, Shirley Merritt and husband Larry of Conway and Cindy Watson and husband Tom of Conway; sisters, Jewel Woodard and Lessie Glover and husband Coy all of Conway; sister-in-law, Mildred Turner of Mayflower; grandchildren, Heath Merritt and wife Cammy, Blake Merritt and wife Lindsey, Robin Parish and husband Billy, Brannon Watson and wife Sarah, Ashley Gardner and husband Jeremy, Brett Lile and Brendan Lile; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00-7:30pm, Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home (501)327-7727. Funeral service will be at 10:00am, Wednesday, October 10, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Turner, Stanley Woodard, Preston Woodard, Bobby Woodard, C.H. Turner and John Robinette. Honorary pallbearers will be Heath Merritt, Blake Merritt, Brannon Watson, Brett Lile, Brendan Lile, Dwight Hairston, Wendell Carter, Ricky Woodard, Cecil Hairston and Mike Hairston.
In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Wesley United Methodist Church, 2310 E Oak Street, Conway, AR 72032.
