HOXIE — Raymond Taylor, 80, of Hoxie died Wednesday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was a World War II Army veteran.

Survivors include two daughters, Stella Morris and Pat Stocker, both of Hoxie; four sons, Joe Moore of Longview, Texas, Jim Taylor of Yale, Okla., Carroll Taylor of Oregon, Ill., and Tom Taylor of Black Rock; one sister, Thelma Smith of Walnut Ridge; one brother, Lee Taylor of Smithville; 23 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Taylor, and by two brothers, one sister and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Old Military Cemetery, with the Rev. Donnie Hudson officiating. Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie has charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Wayne Hoffman, Eric Hoffman, Rick Morris, James Hoffman, Donald Hoffman, Jarrod Swan, James VanHoozer and Cassandra Lipe.

Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
