Sharon L. "Cherie" Riddle, 63, of Springdale died Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, at Fayetteville. She was born Jan. 1, 1941, in Sioux Falls, S.D., the daughter of Rex and Lavonne Montgomery Cloud. She was a hairdresser and a member of First Baptist Church in Lowell; the Serendipity Home Extension Club, a volunteer for the Jones Center for Families; Springdale Library and was a foster parent in Arkansas.

She is survived by her beloved husband, James Riddle of the home; her father of Huron, S.D.; sister, Dixie (Les) Hawkey of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two daughters, Shelly Brown and husband, Keith of Le Mars, Iowa, and Krisaundra Butler and husband, Dwayne of Springdale; grandchildren, Jessica Brown, Michaela Brown, Adam Brown, Andrew Brown of Le Mars, Iowa, and Alicia Thomas and Zachary Thomas of Springdale.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Lowell with the Rev. Gary Thomas, the Rev. Johnny Harp and the Rev. Charlie Foster officiating. Burial will be in Butler Ford Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Horne in Springdale.

Pallbearers will be Adam Brown, Lester Hawkey, Perry Hawkey, Randy Hayes, Keith Brown and Dwayne Butler.

Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Thomas, Andrew Brown and Shad Hawkey.
