LOWELL — Russell Vincent VanDroof, age 66, of Lowell, died Jan. 5, 2012, at the VA Medical Center
in Fayetteville. He was born in Syracuse, N.Y., on Nov. 12, 1945, to the late Ralph and Marjorie (Cresson) VanDroof.

He was the owner of Total Electric Company, Inc.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Rena VanDroof; children, Melissa VanDroof Stewart and husband, Lance, of Cave Springs, Travis VanDroof of Springdale, Michelle Lunn and husband, Kevin, of Rogers; siblings, Dale VanDroof and Mary Ellen Cassanego, both of Baltimore, Md.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David VanDroof; and a great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 8, 2012, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Services and interment will be private.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the local American Legion.

LOWELL — Frances Barbara Irene VanDroof "Rena" was born Dec. 20, 1946, in Tipton, Calif. She passed away on March 23, 2013, in Lowell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell VanDroof; and a great-grandchild, Jose Flores.

She leaves behind two sisters, Rebecca Parsons of Springdale, Janie "Pete" Abshire of Gentry; one son, Travis VanDroof of Lowell; and two daughters, Michelle Lunn of Rogers, Melissa Stewart of Prairie Grove; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She also Leaves behind her beloved pet, Shady.

Rena enjoyed playing bingo, collecting Hummingbird and Pillsbury Doughboy collectibles and being a member of the Loyal Order Of Moose, in Lowell.

Her great sense of humor brought so much laughter and joy to many. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a friend everyone wanted to have. She will be deeply missed and loved forever.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Circle of Life Hospice or the Loyal Order of the Moose.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
