Mary Anne Ford passed away in Belton, Texas on April 24, 2016 after a brief illness with her children and other family members by her side. She was born in Barberton, Ohio on March 5, 1937 to Ellsworth and Wynona Scott Stover. She married Joseph Charles Ford, MD on February 1, 1958 in Waco Texas.

Mary Anne was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother William Walter Malone. She is survived by her children Frances Lee Ford, Joanne Ford Englund, Joseph Charles Ford Jr., James Guy Stover Ford, and Mary Carolyn Ford; her sisters Carol Levine, Judy Kadow, and Patricia Hood; and seven grandchildren.

Mary Anne graduated from the Scott and White Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, and worked as a registered nurse before she had her five children. She was an avid genealogist, grew beautiful African Violets, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for their kind and professional care. Private services will be held at a later date with Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the National Prion Disease Pathology Surveillance Center at www.case.edu/med/pathology/centers/npdpsc/donation.html.
