Jimmy Linn Holt 68 of Angles City in the Philippines, formerly of Conway died Wednesday (Nov. 3, 2004). He was born September 21, 1936 in Conway to the late Charles and Ruth Linn Holt. He was a Catholic, retired from the U. S. Navy after twenty years of service mostly in the South Pacific. He served in the Viet Nam War and after his retirement he worked for the U. S. Air Force as the food and beverage manager for the officer's club in the South Pacific. He won many awards for excellent food and service in the clubs under his leadership. He loved to play golf; he was active in the VFW both in Conway and the Philippines.

He is survived by his wife Lisa, one step-daughter of the home, Chessie, two daughters, Susan Kramer of Washington State and Sandra Dafang of Hawaii, one son Scott Holt of Washington State, one sister Carolyn Nichols of Little Rock and four grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday Nov. 9, 2004 in Angeles City in the Philippines with burial at Clark Cemetery with full military honors.

Memorial services are 10:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Conway with Chaplin Ed Simpson of the U. S. Army Reserve officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Jim Holt memorial at the Jesse Grisham VFW Post 2259.
