Emma Gene Turner Logan, 77, of Conway died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at Salem Place Nursing Center. Emma Gene was born Sept. 25, 1923, in Conway, a daughter of the late Eugene McCrite Turner and Nola Crye Turner. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Conway and Grace Sunday School Class and a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas. She taught at Corning (Clay County) and Conway schools.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan Phil Logan; a brother, Coy Turner; and a sister, Ruth Randle. Survivors are three sisters, Gladys Dow and Myrtle Lee Selig, both of Conway, and Louise Abernathy of Enid, OK.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Oak Grove Cemetery with Dr. R. Dale Wicker officiating. Burial will be by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
