Sarah - 1870 - November 25, 1965
Mrs. Sallie Elizabeth Jackson, 94, of 2404 Maul Rd., died Thursday in a local hospital. She was a member of the First Methodist church and had made her home in Camden for the past 47 years. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. W. P. Smead, Mrs. R. B. Thornton, Mrs. M. P. Pate, all of Camden; Mrs. W. P. Keister of Louisville, Ky.; Mrs. Jim Q. Province of Chattanooga, Tenn.; Miss Birdie Jackson, Memphis, Tenn.; two sons, Homer Jackson of Camden and J. V. Jackson of Tomball, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Sharpe, Albuquerque, N. M. and Mrs. Hubert Wilkins of Fulton, Ky.; 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. (Camden News - November 26, 1965)
