GARFIELD — Owen Eugene Taylor, age 90, of Garfield, passed away on March 6, 2013, in Garfield. He was born Aug. 12, 1922, in Washburn, Mo., to the late Benjamin Garland and Snoe Anderson Taylor.
He was a veteran or the United States Air Corps, having served during WWII. He retired from the Arkansas Highway Department and was a farmer in Garfield. He loved his family, friends and his farm.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Louise Taylor of the home, one daughter, Lynda and her husband, Joe Maniscalco, of Mobile, Ala., two sisters, Vivian Pitts of Garfield, Juanita Gillam of Anderson, Mo., and by three grandchildren, April Daum Strout, Grace Anne Maniscalco and Elissabeth Snoe Maniscalco.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeannie Taylor Strout; and by one brother, E.J. Taylor.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 11 at the First Baptist Church in Garfield.
A visitation will be held from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday, March 10 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. Interment will be in the Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield.
Memorials may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.

GARFIELD — Helen Louise Taylor passed from this life into glory on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014. She was born on Feb. 20, 1928, in Rogers, Ark., and was a graduate of Rogers High School.
She was married on Nov. 7, 1952, to Owen Eugene Taylor in Bentonville, Ark. Louise and Gene lived in Garfield, Ark., on the Taylor family farm. She was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Garfield, Ark., where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Stella Fletcher of Pea Ridge; her two sisters, Jody Sigmon, Imanda Cunningham; and her brother, Tony Edward Fletcher Jr.
Louise was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Owen Eugene Taylor; and her beloved daughter, Jeanne Strout of Rogers.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Bobby Strout, her granddaughter, April Strout, both of Rogers, Ark.; and her daughter, Lynda Maniscalco, son-in-law, Joe Maniscalco, and granddaughters, Grace and Ellssabeth Maniscalco, all of Mobile, Ala. Louise is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and two sisters-in-law, Juanita Gilliam of Anderson, Mo., and Vivian Pitts of Garfield, Ark.
Visitation services will be held at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at First Baptist Church of Garfield, Ark., with the Rev. Tony Byler officiating. Graveside services follow at Ruddick Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
