Mrs. Enid Mary Jewell, 80. of Springdale, died Saturday at a Fayetteville hospital. Born Oct. 30, 1905, in the Wyman Community, the daughter of Joseph Morton and Ora E. Cate Meredith, she was a homemaker, a member of the Methodist church, and was the widow of Robert Jewell.
Survivors are a son, James Jewell of Wichita, Kan.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Perry of Springdale; a brother, Darrell Meredith of Fayetteville; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Duncan of Tupelo, Miss., and Mrs. Virginia Bassett of Fayetteville; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m., Monday at Nelson's Funeral Chapel with burial in the Goshen Cemetery.
