Melissa Rena' Burrow, age 39, of Conway, Arkansas passed from this life to be with her Lord on March 8th, 2007. She was born in May 2nd, 1967 in Gravette, Arkansas to Rev. Jim and Sandra Milburn Sanders. Her grandfathers preceded her in death: Leonard Milburn and Lawrence Sanders. Melissa graduated from Conway High in 1985 and received an Associate Degree from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma. For many years she has been a member of and served as President of the PTA for Ellen Smith Elementary, was a substitute teacher for the Conway Public Schools, and has been a member of First Baptist Church and sang in the choir for many years. She was a beautiful solo vocalist whose favorite song to sing and perform (she signed the song for the hearing impaired as she sang) was "We Shall Behold Him". Melissa was very active in the K-Life Ministries here in Conway when she and Steve Schall saw it all begin in that small house fourteen years ago. Being considered a perfectionist who could even repair a dishwasher, Melissa was an artist that had several murals here in Conway, worked with ceramics and was an accomplished cake decorator. Given the opportunity, added to her collection of butterflies and butterfly memorabilia. If it had a butterfly on it, she liked it.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years: Cliff Burrow and her children: Angel (14) and Austin (11); by her parents: Rev. Jim and Sandra Milburn Sanders of Conway, brother: Jim Sanders Jr. of Greenbrier, sister: April Erikson of Conway, her grandmothers: Geneva Milburn and Dorothy Sanders both of Conway; and by her aunts, uncles, five nieces, three nephews and extended family.
Funeal services are Saturday, 2:00 p.m., March 10th at the First Baptist Church of Conway officiated by Dr. R. Dale Wicker Jr. with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Roller McNutt Funeral Home of Conway
