Coy H. New, 98, of Conway, passed away Monday December 2, 2013. She was born February 5, 1915 in Mt. Vernon, AR to the late Otis and Stella (Harlan) Henry. Coy was also preceded in death by her husbands, Winfred New and Roy Wolfe, son, Kenneth New, two brothers, Marion Henry, J.D. Henry and one sister, Hilda Lester.
Coy was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church for 65 years. She was an employee of International Shoe Factory for many years. In her later years Coy served as a foster grandparent at CHDC and daycare. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Coy is survived by her daughter Sammie Lou Godwin of Bryant, sister, Velma (Tommy) Hoggard and daughter in law, Carolyn New all of Conway, six grandchildren, many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday December 5, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway (501) 327-7727, with Bro. Randy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway. Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne New, Neal New, Zay Jenkins, Mark Hoggard and Jim Henderson.
