Allie Easter Keathley, 103, of Conway died Monday (Feb. 24, 2003) at Heritage Nursing Center.

She was born Jan. 19, 1900, in Mount Vernon, to the late John Henry and Lou Davidson McNinch.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Keathley; and a son, Edward Keathley.

Survivors are two sisters, Lallie Cox of Heber Springs and Mary Jane Cox of Searcy; a brother, Gliss McNinch of Enola; a grandson; four great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Allie Keathley will celebrate her 101st birthday at 1 p.m. Saturday at Village Park Retirement Center, 1622 Scott St.

Friends and relatives are invited. No gifts, please.

Mrs. Keathley was born Jan. 19, 1900, in the Barney community, a daughter of the late John Henry and Lou Davidson McNinch.

She is the widow of Jesse Keathley, an Army veteran of World War I.

She is the mother of one son, the late Edward Keathley, and she has four grandchildren.

Mrs. Keathley has one brother, Gliss McNinch of Enola, and two sisters, Lallie Cox of Heber Springs and Mary Jane Cox of Searcy.

She is an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Mrs. Keathley worked for the war effort during World War II and she also worked for the shoe factory in Conway.
