He was killed when Union soldiers shot into their house at his father, Thomas Henry Thompson; as told to H.B. (Rusty) Thompson, Wallisville, Chambers, TX. Since the cemetery is larger than the four marked graves, he is probably buried in the Thompson Family Cemetery.
