WEST MEMPHIS — Ernest G. Walden, 82, of West Memphis died Jan. 13, 2005, at Crittenden Memorial Hospital
in West Memphis. He was born Feb. 10, 1922, in Springdale to Ray Monroe and Maude Daniels Walden. He was a retired truck driver, a Baptist and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Marie Walden of the home; two sons, Galen Walden of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Eric Walden of Marion; two daughters, Teresa A. Hobbs of Big Cabin, Okla., and Holly Zimmerman of Marion; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Spring Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. David Evans officiating. Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Sisco Chapel in Springdale.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.

VINITA, Okla. — Anna Marie Walden, 87, of Vinita, Oklahoma, formerly of Springdale, died September 8th at Heartsworth Nursing home in Vinita Oklahoma. She was born July 25th 1928 in Springdale Arkansas to Alvin Glen and Mary Letitia Downum Vanscoy.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ernest Walden and daughter Holly Zimmerman. She is survived by two sons, Galen Walden of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Eric Walden of Marion, Ark.; one daughter, Teresa Hobbs of Big Cabin, Okla; 15 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale, Ark.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Springdale, Ark.
Burial will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 210 N. Walton Blvd. #25, Bentonville, Arkansas 72712. To sign the online guestbook visit www.siscofuneral.com.
