Lucy Jean McFadden, age 78 of Rose Bud, died Saturday, December 6, 2014 in Rose Bud. She was born August 17, 1936 at Kelso, Arkansas to Eugene Taylor and Ruby Lee Williams Taylor. She worked many years as a beautician and founded Mr. Mac's Hair Fashions and was a member of the Rose Bud Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, 9 months, 15 days, Ray McFadden; four daughters, Rhonda Garrard and husband David of Rose Bud, Cheryl Sorensen and husband Steve of Bailey, Colorado, Karen Schaedig and husband Keith of Little Rock, Teressa Lancaster and husband Todd of Mt. View; nine grandchildren, Shannon Shearer and husband Billy Mac of Rose Bud, Courtney Garrard of Benton, Brandy Day and husband Vince of Vilonia, Cody Schaedig of Littleton, Colorado, Sawyer Schaedig of Little Rock, Markie Schaedig of Little Rock, Tollie Lancaster of Conway, Tristin Lancaster of Conway; Taylor May and husband Ben of Conway; and four great-grandchildren, Carson Lucena of Rose Bud, McKenna Shearer of Rose Bud, Cale Day of Vilonia, and Colton Day of Vilonia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Ruby Taylor. Visitation is Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Rose Bud Church of Christ with interment to follow at Rose Bud Cemetery.
