SWITZER, Betty of St. Petersburg, passed away on March 6, 2013. Betty was born Sept. 5, 1931 in Neelyville, MO, and was raised in and around Corning, AR. She moved with her family to St. Petersburg in 1963. She was a retired nursing home administrator and bookkeeper. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Ella Mae and Earnest Carnahan; sister, Nan Cocke, her husband Donald; and son, Mark. Betty is survived by her two daughters, Mary Jane & Virginia (Ginger); brothers, Earl & James; and her sisters, Peggy, Virginia & Carmen; and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff at Woodside Hospice for their special care and support.
