Jerlean Whitledge, 70, of Corning died Saturday, April 27, 2002, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Mrs. Whitledge was born Sept. 7, 1931, in Corning. She was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Corning and retired from the Corning School Cafeteria.
On Sept. 29, 1950, she married Carl Whitledge. He survives.
Other survivors include one son, Barry Whitledge of Corning; one daughter, Marilyn Harley of Corning; one sister, Jean Huggins of Corning; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Bobby Ball officiating. Burial will be in the Corning Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Corning.
