James R. Willett, age 67 of Mountain Home, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013 at his residence. He was born July 31, 1946 in Gassville, Arkansas to Russell and Opal (Hodge) Willett. Mr. Willett served his country in the United States Army and during the Vietnam era, and was honorably discharged. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting.
James R. Willett is survived by his former wife Mary Willett of Gassville, a son Jeff Willett of Gassville, his daughter Nancy Willett of Gassville, grandchildren Brittany, Savannah and Gracie all of Gassville, his sisters Ilene Stevenson of Mountain Home, Alice Willett of Mountain Home and Peggy Miller of Gassville, his brothers Karel Sanders of Mountain Home, Billy Willett of Mountain Home, Kenny Willett of Mountain Home, Charlie Willett of Gassville, and Rusty Willett of Mountain Home, several nieces and nephews, and a special cousin Ricky Lamb of Austin, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Leon Willett and Benny Willett.
