FLORAL — Martha Aletta Webb, 73, of Floral died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009, in Searcy.

Born July 27, 1935, at Long Creek, she was the daughter of Earl and Ida Hinkle Jones. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and crocheting. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include three sons, Dewayne Hooker of Batesville, Tony Hooker of Delaware and Justin Webb of Velvet Ridge; five daughters, Leta Stokes and Lisa Sneed, both of North Carolina, Sherry Godoy and JoAnn Webb, both of Oklahoma, and Betty Reeves of Floral; four sisters, Pauline Smith of Cash, Rosemary Sullivan of Florida and Emily Summers and Lilly Ray, both of Newport; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Webb; a son, Darrell Hooker; two brothers, Gene Jones and Knox Jones; and her parents.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ballew's Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are by Jackson's Newport Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Justin Webb, Joseph Solida, William Sneed, Timmy Hooker, Michael Reeves, Jesse Godoy, Terry Green and Brandon Reeves.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight.
