Mildred Joan Worster
Mildred Joan Worster age 77 of Yellville passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
Mildred was born In Rodman, Iowa on May 7, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Jack and Lorna (Sanders) Turner. Mildred and her husband, James had made Yellville their home since 1979 having moved here from Shell Rock, Iowa.
She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant, a member of the Church on the Rock, and a former member of the Junior Federation of Women. In Mildred’s early church life, she was active in the choir and Youth groups. She married James B. Worster on December 23, 1956.
Mildred is survived by: Her Husband; James B. Worster of Yellville, Arkansas; Two Sons: Martin C. Worster of Colorado James J. Worster of Yellville, Arkansas; Two Daughters: Debbie F. Brown of Conway, Arkansas Genevieve “Ginny” Capps of Yellville, Arkansas; Thought of as her Children: Joe Prager of Florida Leanne Rudolph of Yellville, Arkansas; Mildred is also survived by 14 grandchildren ands 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and 1 grandchild.
Visitation will be held at the Burns Funeral Home in Yellville on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 6-8 pm.
Services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Burns Funeral Home with interment in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Bro. Kevin Duffy will be officiating the services.
Serving as pallbearers are: James R. Worster, Christopher Capps, Cody Capps, Scott Zielstra, William Topf, Matthew Zielstra, Martin C. Worster and Quentin L. Worster.
Honorary pallbearers are: Chris Brown, Ron and Alan Phillips.
In lieu of flowers: Memorials can be made to the Parkinson Research Foundation.
