GRUBBS -- Alma Beatrice Odglen Rogers, 94, of Grubbs died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, in Jonesboro. Born at Swifton, she was a homemaker and a member of the Grubbs First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Jimmy Dean Rogers of Grubbs; three grandchildren, Val Brumby of San Antonio, Chris LaCava of Newport, R.I., and Deanne Proffitt of Springdale; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Rogers, one son, two brothers, two sisters and one grandson.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Grubbs, with Larry Miles officiating. Burial will follow at Ballews Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Jackson's Newport Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Billy Blagg, Cleamon Odglen, H.M. Williamson, Glen Odglen, Randy Odglen and Perry Odglen.
Honorary pallbearers will include Paul Miles, Mark Dawson, Jeremy Proffitt, Charles Tennyson, Herman Skaggs and Mark Summers.
