Virginia M. Taylor, age 71, of Flippin, Arkansas entered into rest Saturday May 31, 2014 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
She was born in Calico Rock, Arkansas to the late Elmer R. and Ruby G. (Acklin) Cobb on April 25, 1943.
Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who enjoyed outdoor activities such as gardening, fishing, and camping. She also enjoyed wood carving and doll making.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her son Danny Lee Taylor of Fort Worth, Texas; her daughter Connie S. Brown and her husband, Jim, of Yellville, Arkansas; her brothers: Wilks Cobb and his wife, Mabel, of Flippin, Arkansas; Billy R, Cobb and his wife, Clara of East Cotter, Arkansas; Michael Cobb of Harrison, Arkansas; her sisters: Willa Wagoner of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; Bonne Faugh and her husband, Garry of East Cotter, Arkansas; Fay Clark and her husband, Michael, of Flippin, Arkansas;
nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Judy Ann Olivier; a brother, Junior Cobb; and her special aunt, Una Lea Kirk.
Visitation for Mrs. Taylor will be Monday, June 2, 2014 from 1:15 pm until service time at Fairview United Methodist Church in Buford, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday, June 2, 2014 at Fairview United Methodist Church in Buford with Dr. Thomas M. Yoder officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in the Buford community.
Pallbearers will be James Tudor, Garrett Ramsey, Jessie Tudor, Kenny Stapleton, James Cobb, and David Beard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Cobb, Jason Cobb, Justin Olivier, and Claude Olivier.
