Emerson J. (Jake) Snodgrass, 86, of Fayetteville, died in a local hospital Thursday. Born May 26, 1888 in Emporia, Kan., the son of Charles and Maggie Snodgrass, he was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by one son, Bill of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters Mrs. Phyllis Eddy and Miss Mildred Snodgrass, both of Wichita; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Raymond Lierly of Fayetteville, Mrs. Joe Nicholson of Lankin, Kan., and Miss Geanne Eddingfield of Wichita and nine grandchildren.
Graveside service will he 10 a.m. Saturday, at Goshen Cemetery under the direction of Nelson's Funeral Home.
