Monday, May 16, 1977
Olen Chester Snodgrass, 62, Harmon community, died this morning in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born April 27, 1915, at Osage, he was the son of Charles C. and Nancy Frederick Snodgrass, was employed by Campbell Soup and was a member of the Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillian Snodgrass of the home; one son, Glen Snodgrass, Fayetteville; four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Welkley, Springdale, Mrs. Barbara Barron, West Fork, Mrs. Linda Greenlee and Mrs. Judy Turner, Fayetteville; five brothers, Orbin Snodgrass, Rogers, Eugene and Charles Snodgrass, both of California, Levon Snodgrass, Springdale, and Ervin Snodgrass, Fort Smith; two sisters, Mrs. Elcie Hooper, and Mrs. Ruth Eubanks, Springdale.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gospel of Peace Tabernacle, with Rev. Roy Murrell officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
