Mrs. Mittie Farris Williams, 85, resident of Rockwood Trail, died Tuesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edith Wages, after an extended illness. Born June 7, 1873 at Mineral Springs, the daughter at Josh and Amanda Blackburn, she was the widow of the late Robert Williams who died in 1906, and was a member of Little Elm Baptist Church at Farmington.

Survivors are two sons, O.L. Williams, Farmington, and Earnest Williams, Oskoloosa, Kan.; three daughters, Mrs. H.G. Addington and Mrs. Wages, Fayetteville, and Mrs. Jack Snodgrass, Wichita, Kan.; 24 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in the chapel of Nelson's Funeral Home by the Rev. O.L. Lierly, assisted by the Rev. Johnny Sloates. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
