Ralph Dockery, 70, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday in a Rogers nursing home. Born Dec. 30, 1913, at Sunset, the son a John E. and Millie Jane House Dockery, he was a retired employee of the S&H Green Stamp Redemption Center in Fayetteville. He was a member of Baldwin Church of Christ and a lifetime resident of the area.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ernie Stowers Dockery of the home; two sons, Floyd A. and Johnny R., both of Fayetteville; a daughter, Mrs. Rodney (Patsy) Blakeslee of Bentonville; three brothers, Lloyd of Springdale, Clarence of Lawrence, Kan. and John R. of Fayetteville; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Terry of Fayetteville and Mrs. Emma Tompkins of Talent, Ore., and five grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Baldwin Church of Christ with burial in Sunset Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.

Ernie Leah Dockery, 89, of Fayetteville died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2005, at Fayetteville City Hospital.

She was born June 26, 1916, in Hazel Valley, the daughter of Don R. and Emma Z. Miller Stowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Dockery, a granddaughter, Theresa Graham and a daughter-in-law, Daisy Dockery.

She was retired from Campbell Soup Co. and was a member of Baldwin Church of Christ.

She is survived by two sons, Floyd A. Dockery, Johnny R. Dockery and his wife Barbara, all of Fayetteville; a daughter, Patsy A. Blakeslee and her husband Rod of Centerton; two brothers, Richard Stowers of Elkins and Darrell Stowers of Gainesville, Ga.; two sisters, Anna Lou Miller and Lillian May, both of West Virginia; a sister-in-law, Barbara Wilson of Fayetteville; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21 at Baldwin Church of Christ with Robert G. Dockery and Omer D. Parrish officiating.

Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
