Isophene Virginia Glenn, 88, of Lynn, died April 15, 2014, in Walnut Ridge.

Born August 17, 1925, in Lynn, she was the daughter of Willie and Opha Simmons Lynch, and a lifelong resident of Lawrence County. Mrs. Glenn was a loving wife and mother, a homemaker, and loved to garden and sew. She and Mr. Glenn organized Faith Missionary Baptist Church at Eaton in 1956, where they served until 1975.

Mrs. Glenn was preceded in death by her husband, Brooks Glenn; one son, Larry Glenn, of Lynn; and two sisters, Marie Morgan of Lynn, and Mabel Alls of Lavonia, Mich.

Survivors include two daughters, Lanell King and husband Tommy of Lynn, and Nona Dunlap and husband Terry of Gulfport, Miss.; three sisters, Shirley Matthews and Angie Gyngard, both of Edgington, Ill., and Clara Wise of Conway; one brother, Virgil Lynch of Imboden; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral was Saturday, April 19, at 2 p.m. at Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Eaton with David Stuart officiating and Jeremy Dunlap assisting. Visitation was Friday, April 18, from 5-8 p.m. at Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Burial was in Dry Creek Cemetery under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Randy Glenn, Brent Glenn, David Glenn, Shawn Dunlap and Casey Dunlap, and Randy Budnik.
