Pauline Elizabeth Martin
Pauline Elizabeth Martin was born in Newport, Arkansas, July 23, 1928, daughter of Noble and Mittie (Lawson) Guynes. She departed this life Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at her home in Henderson, Arkansas, at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 17 days.
Pauline was united in marriage August 2, 1950, to C.D. Martin in Hoxie, Arkansas. She was in the healthcare industry for over 20 years as a LPN. Pauline was a member of Oak Valley Baptist Church in Elizabeth, Arkansas. She was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all her family.
Pauline is survived by two sons, Dewain Martin (Yvonne) of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, and Doug Martin (Letha) of Elizabeth, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Angie Ludwig (Ryan) of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, Brandon Martin (Jill) of Wichita, Kansas, Crystal Licari (Nick) of St. Louis, Missouri, and Carmen Roberts (Brian) of Mt. Home, Arkansas; nine great grandchildren, Lucas, Michael, Lilly, Tyler, Vivian, Hayley, Khloie, Bryson and Cadence; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held May 14, 2016, 11:00 AM at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas, with Bro. John Ueltzen officiating. Interment will be in the Custer Herron Cemetery in Henderson, Arkansas, with arrangements entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem. Family will receive friends Friday, May 13, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Brandon Martin, Nick Licari, Ryan Ludwig, Roger Hatfield, Brian Roberts and John Hatfield. Honorary pallbearer is Junior Hickman. Memorials preferred to Hospice of North Arkansas.
