Bual Doyce Cox, 80, of Rector, AR., died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

He was born February 15, 1933, in the White Oak Community of Clay County, to Clyde and Gertie Cox.

Mr. Cox retired from Fibercraft/Pioneer Engineering, Dearborn, Michigan. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and enjoyed fishing. He was a Mason and a member of 5th and Pine Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Stafford of Rector; one son, William Cox of Woodhaven, Michigan; one step daughter-in-law, Pat Wilde of Trenton, Michigan; and one step-daughter, Pat Clapper of Madison Heights, Michigan. He is also survived by two half sisters, Kay Williams of Gulfport, Mississippi, Faye Matlock of Lagrange, Georgia; five grand-children; and five great grand-children.

Burial was in the Woodland Heights Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector.
