Mary Stroud
Mary Lee Paysinger Stroud, 71, of Hardy, Arkansas, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Hospice of the Ozarks at Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born June 27, 1944, at Ash Flat, Arkansas.
Her occupation was being "the greatest MawMaw in the world." Mary was an active member of Spring River Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Doraine and Clara Farris Paysinger; an infant daughter, Leigh Ann; a son, Randy; and her "best boyfriend" of 52 years - her husband, Bob.
Survivors include her son Jeff (Daralee) Stroud of Mountain Home; sisters, Alice Risner of Tullahoma, Tennessee, and Alieen Reed of Dardanelle, Arkansas; grandchildren: Hannah Rikard, Cody Seward, and Candace Seward; great-granddaughter, Emilee Seward; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and good friends.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2016, in the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel at Highland, Arkansas, with Terry Linderman officiating.
Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery located in Salem, Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 21, in the A. L. Hutson Memorial Center at Highland.
Pallbearers are Jeff Stroud, Mike Floyd, Tracy Haney, Kyle Lane, Robert Wicker, and Cody Seward.
Honorary pallbearers are Bill Stroud, Jim Stroud, Danny Burleson, Noah Risner, and Billy Mac Haney.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Hospice of the Ozarks, 701 Burnett Drive, Mtn. Home, AR 72653.
Arrangements are with Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
