MRS. DELIA MALLETT DIES AT HOME NEAR SPRINGFIELD TODAY
Mrs. Delia Mallett, 73, died at her home in the Mallettown community, near Springfield, Conway County, at 7 a.m. today. Mrs. Mallett, widow of Jess Mallett, died of influenza contracted five weeks ago. She was born at Greenbrier, March 04, 1870, and had lived in Conway County 60 years. She was a Methodist, Survivors include two sons, J.L. and M.E. Mallett of Little Rock; five daughters, Mrs. T. W. Norwood of Little Rock, Mrs. V.C. Johnson of Hope, Mrs. Edna Tanner and Mrs. C.H. Hart of Springfield, and Mrs. Virgil Price of Greenbrier; two brothers, Jack Miller and Bud Miller of Valliant, Oklahoma; and a sister, Mrs. Lock Allinder of Bessemer, Alabama.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Mallettown Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday by Rev. W.H. Harrison of Grienbrier and buried in Mallettown Cemetery, Doolin's Funeral Home is in charge.
Pallbearers will be as follows: Mountie Mallett, John Dunlap, Ralph Kellar, Joe Mallett, James Mallett, and Paul Mallett.
