William H. Tomlinson, 87, Rt. 1, Winslow, died Nov. 17 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Feb. 2, 1891, in Winslow, he was the son of William and Juliann Watkins Tomlinson. He was a retired farmer, Baptist and lifelong resident of the Winslow area.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Aaron Tomlinson of Greenland and James Tomlinson of Winslow; four brothers, Walter, Ed and Jim Tomlinson all of Winslow and Frank Tomlinson of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Miss Mabel Tomlinson of Winslow; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Miron Parrish officiating. Burial will be in Parks Cemetery near Winslow.
Pallbearers will be Oscar and John Devore, Archie Carroll, Guy Darling and Harold and Earvel Reed.

Mrs. Martha Ann Tomlinson, 76, Rt. 1, Winslow, died this morning in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Sept. 27, 1899, at Winslow, she was the daughter of Robert and Rosie Walker Scott, and was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William H. Tomlinson of the home; two sons, Robert A. Tomlinson, Greenland, and James W. Tomlinson, Winslow; two sisters, Mrs. Cindy Culver, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Elizabeth Reed, Winslow; two brothers, John Scott, Lexington. Okla., and Allen Scott, Winslow; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Burial will he in Parks Cemetery pear Winslow under direction of Moore's.
