Jerry Wilber, 74, 610 N. 10th St., Rogers, died Aug. 19 in Rogers Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 13, 1899, in Savoy, he was the son of Charlie and Mary Lockhart Wilber, a retired carpenter, a veteran of World War I and World War II and was a member of American Legion and VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie Elliot Wilber of the home; one son, Russell Wilber, Rogers two daughters, Mrs. Jennie Bass, Rogers, and Mrs. Helen Easley, Springdale; two brothers, Thomas Gill and Roy Gill, Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Lankford, Wichita Falls, Tex., Mrs. Beulah Church, Jay, Okla., and Mrs. Opal Cox, Stilwell, Okla.; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in White Oak Chapel, Rogers, with the Rev. Junior Johnson officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery under the direction of Callison Chapel of Rogers.
