WINSLOW — Robert Roland "Red" Spears, 85, of Winslow, died Nov. 18, 2000, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Nov. 3, 1915, in Richland, Texas, to George and Maggie Murphy Spears. He was a retired mechanic and a poultry grower. He was a Baptist, a Mason for 50 years and a member of the Luke Greenway Masonic Lodge. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Haze1 Cline Spears of the home; four sons, Walter Spears of Phoenix, Ariz., Robert Roland Spears Jr. of Winslow, Lane Spears of West Fork and George Spears of Brentwood; one daughter, Mary Ruth Sharp of Purdon, Texas; two brothers, Ralph Spears and Robert Spears, both of Kilgore, Texas; four sisters; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Cemetery, with the Rev. Perry Hall officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.

WINSLOW — Hazel Maude Spears, 85, of Winslow died Nov. 16, 2008, at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 17, 1923, in Grapevine, Texas, to Chancey C. and Leona Potter Cline.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include her stepdaughter, Mary Ruth Sharp of Purdon, Texas; her stepson, Walter Spears of Phoenix; three sons, Robert Spears and George Spears, both of Winslow, and Lane Spears of West Fork; his brother, Wayne Cline of Irving, Texas; two sisters, Imogene Lucus of Irving, Texas, and Sally Snodgrass of Gustine, Texas; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Cemetery with Jon Davis officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville, online at www.mooresfuneralchapel.com.
