Funeral for Iva Medlin Pardue, 101, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015 at Marion Methodist Church with Brother Bubba Hoggatt officiating. Interment will be in the Old Lapile Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville, La.

Iva, a homemaker, went to her heavenly home on Dec. 18, 2015. She attended Jack Mayfield Memorial Methodist Church and Marion Methodist Church. She played the piano at both churches. She was a loving mother, grandmother and also helped raise her brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Pardue; son, Cecil Pardue Jr.; her parents, Milas and Maude Turner Medlin; four brothers; two sisters; and one grandson.

Left to cherish her memory is one son, Robert Pardue and his wife, Ellie, of Clarksville, Tenn.; three daughters, Nellie Dugat and her husband, Joe, of Huttig, Sandra Kay Berry and her husband, Ronald, of Strong, and Judy Gantz and her husband, Alan, of Strong; one brother, Toby Medlin of Marion, La.; one sister, Jean Chrisman and her husband, Thomas, of Marion, La.; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at Marion Methodist Church.
