*Obituary
Margie S. Hill of El Dorado died Friday February 4, 2011 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas following a brief illness.

Born September 11 in Bolding. Arkansas she was the daughter of Henry Clay and Olivia Nelson Snell. Margie had retired from Lion oil Refinery as an administrative clerk after being employed over 50 years.

An integral part of Margies life was centered on her love for music and her ability to make a piano come to life every time she played. The atmosphere of Margies music was as if she and the piano had become one.

Sharing this love of music, she was the pianist at the weekly meetings of the El Dorado Kiwanis Club for 58 years and for many years was the accompanist for the Derby Dandies quartet.

Her church family at St Paul United Methodist Church had enjoyed her music ministry during Sunday worship services for the past 36 years.

Preceding her in death along with her parents were two brothers, Harold Snell and Percy Snell.

Survivors include her husband Bruce Hill of El Dorado and a stepson, Steven Hill of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Also surviving is a sister-in-law Martha Snell of Falls Valley, Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of the life and music of Margie will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 7, 2011 at St. Paul United Methodist Church with Rev. Rob Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Old Lapile Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday evening.

Memorials made be made to the St. Paul United Methodist Church Piano Fund, 700 West Eighth St., El Dorado, AR 71730.
