Pauline the daughter of Neal and Ruby (Harris) Sexton. Oneal the son of Lawrence and Mary Edith (Hill) Reaves.
Oneal Reaves, 86, of Michigan City, Indiana, died Monday.
He was born in Strawberry, Arkansas on August 24, 1929 to Lawrence and Mary Reaves. He married Pauline (Sexton) Reaves. on February 2, 1947 in Strawberry.
He was an electrician at I.B.E.W. Local 531 and a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Oneal served on the board of the I.B.E.W. Local 531 Credit Union for 25 years and was a member of the ACME Lodge. He enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include two sons, Paul (Aurora) Reaves of Daytona Beach, Florida and Larry (Elaine) Reaves of LaPorte, Indiana; four grandchildren, Kristen (Andy) Doty, Sean (Sarah) Reaves, Michael (Angie) Reaves, Brett (Darya) McNeal; six great-grandchildren, Caeleigh Reaves, Kasey Reaves, Taylor Reaves, Jack Doty, Kate Doty, and Demitri McNeal; brother-in-law, Jim (Carolyn) Sexton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pauline Reaves; daughter, Marilyn Coffee; sister, Corey; brother, Floyd; and his special friend, Maria Wandry.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Ward Cemetery in Strawberry under the direction of Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation was at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel in Michigan City, Indiana.

Pauline (Sexton) Reaves
Pauline V. Reaves, age 70, of Michigan City, Ind., died Oct. 20, 2001, in Michigan City.
Born Nov. 24, 1930, in Saffell, she was the daughter of Neal Sexton and Ruby Harris Sexton. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Michigan City, Ind.
Survivors include her husband, Oneal Reaves, whom she married Feb. 2, 1947, in Strawberry; two sons, Paul Reaves and Larry Reaves, both of Laporte, Ind.; a daughter, Marilyn Coffee, Michigan City, Ind.; a brother, Jimmie Sexton, Michigan City, Ind.; four grandchildren, Kristen Reaves, Sean Reaves, Michael Reaves and Brett McNeal; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral will be this afternoon at 2 at the Strawberry Church of Christ with Tommie Boles officiating. Burial will be in Ward Cemetery at Strawberry.
