Sandra (Sandi) Anita Dillard, 78, of Oxford, Arkansas, passed away, Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 with her family surrounding her at her home. She was born in Arp, Texas on November 14, 1937, a daughter of the late Imogene (Nana) and James T. Shaddix. Sandi was united in marriage to Carroll Dillard on November 18, 1967 in Grand Prairie, Texas. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, Memmie, friend, teacher's aide for Oxford and ICC public schools, secretary for Knockout Exterminators and was a member of Oxford Baptist Church. Sandi is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Calcote- Terry and husband Patrick of Roswell, New Mexico, Candace Killian and husband Roy, of Oxford, Arkansas; three sons Thomas Norvold and wife Rhonda of Oxford, Arkansas, Michael Norvold, of Austin, Texas; Daniel Dillard and wife Kasey of Pomona, Kansas; 14 grandchildren, Jamie Qualls of Destin, Florida, Jackie Densford of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas,Courtney Selph and husband Colton of Franklin, Arkansas, Gavin Galloway of Wenatchee, Washington, Delana Mynatt and husband Trenton of New Orleans, Louisiana, Kylie McMahill and husband Jesse of Wideman, Arkansas, Caleb Blevins of Oxford, Arkansas, Zachary Dillard of Gardner, Kansas, Isaac Dillard of Pomona, Kansas, Lindsay Killian of Oxford, Arkansas, Chloe Blevins of Oxford, Arkansas, Baylee Dillard of Pomona, Kansas, Wyatt Terry of Roswell, New Mexico and Bo Dillard of Pomona, Kansas; 8 great grandchildren, Allan Densford, Chris Densford, Spencer Densford, Connor Galloway, Heidi McMahill, Case Selph, Bear McMahill and Carleigh Selph and first husband, Sheldon Norvold of Oxford, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Imogene Shaddix; infant brother; husband, Carroll Dillard and granddaughter, Sydney Norvold.
Pallbearers include: Mike McCandlis, Alan Sherrell, Dean Felton, Tim Dockins, Alfred Grice and Charles Sherrell. Honorary Pallbearers include: Sonshine Ladies Sunday School Class, her nephews and her church family.
Visitation will be held, Friday, November 20, 2015 beginning at 10:00 AM at Oxford Baptist Church, 300 North 1st Street, Oxford, Arkansas 72565. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM with Bro. Tom Doty and Bro. Mike Conyers officiating. Internment will be at Oxford Cemetery after service.
