Marvin Glynn Bankston was born October 27, 1931 in Monroe, Louisiana to John Dalton Bankston and Gladys LaVere Hines. Passed away February 10, 2011 in Lewisville, Texas. Marvin served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his son Bobby Ray Bankston and wife Janette; Grand-daughters Natalie Smith and husband Steve, Chandler Crouch; grandson Wes Bankston; brother John D. Bankston. Marvin was preceded in death by his father John Dalton Bankston, and Mother Gladys LaVere Bankston; two brothers Bobby Ray Bankston, and Bill Bankston; Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. funeral service to follow at 2:00p.m. Sunday February 13, 2011 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home Chapel, officiating Pastor Ted Kiser. Interment will follow the next day Monday February 14, 2011 at Arlington Memorial Park, in Eldorado, Arkansas.
