Bobbie Herndon McWilliams Bowen, 82, of Benton died at home Tuesday, August 4, 2009.

She was born Jan. 13, 1927, in El Dorado to Kelly and Mae Estelle McWilliams.

Mrs. Bowen was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Billy Faye Bowen.

Survivors include four sons, Randy Bowen and wife Jennifer, Danny Bowen and wife Kathy, Glenn Bowen, all of Benton and Larry Bowen of Allen, Texas; two brothers, Jamie McWilliams and wife Connie of Luling, La., and George McWiliams and wife Katie of El Dorado; five grandchildren, Kelley Bowen, Shannon Bowen Ebarb, Corey Bowen, Jared Bowen and Jessica Bowen; four great-grandchildren, Trey, Peyton, Bailey Ebarb and Lauren Bowen.

Church service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Richard Hamlin and Munsy Harris officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Arlington Cemetery in El Dorado.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Robinson, Rusty Witham, Jeromy Hobby, Brent Kirkpatrick, Tracy Wright, Don Davis and Steve Dirden. Honorary will be Mark Robinson and Bill Watts.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ashby Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Sharon Missionary Baptist Church.
