Annita Caraway, 73
Mrs. Annita Caraway, age 73 of Norfork, passed away Tuesday February 16, 2016 at Care Manor Nursing and Rehab in Mountain Home. She was born August 5, 1942 in Norfork to Elmer J. Weatherford and Anna Small Weatherford.
Annita was a member of the Norfork Church of Christ. She was instrumental in the establishment of the Ozark Community Home, one of the first of it's caliber in Arkansas and the Independent Living Apartments. She was a caregiver in both residences until retirement. She was loved and adored by her clients. She enjoyed gardening and loved playing both guitar and fiddle.
She is survived by a son Rickey Vaughn Caraway of Conway, AR; a brother E.J. Weatherford and wife Jeanne of Salesville, AR; a sister Juanita Yancey of Medford, OR; 12 nieces and nephews and a host of friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Ronnie Weatherford and a sister Loretta Greer.
A graveside service will be held 11 AM Friday February 19, 2016 in Norfork Cemetery conducted by Brother Bill Dillon.
