George Gresham, 89, of Waterloo died Wednesday, March 13, 1996, in Medical Park Hospital in Hope.
A retired Baptist minister, he was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Waldo. He attended Magnolia A&M and graduated from both the University of Arkansas and Ouachita Baptist College. He was also a retired school teacher, having taught in Cale, Bodcaw, Hope and Willisville school systems. He was a marine veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a son, Bob R. Gresham of Hope; a brother, Bud Gresham of California; five grandchildren; and a great granddaughter.
Services were held Saturday, March 16, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Waterloo with Rev. Louis Wesson and Rev. Mike Turner officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Waterloo under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Magnolia. (Nevada County Picayune - March 20, 1996)
