Col. Harold Eugene Parish of Bee Branch, Arkansas peacefully passed away in his home on August 17, 2010. He was born on September 18, 1938 and was the last surviving child of Jess (Jay) and Stella Duke Parish.

He was in an automobile accident at the age of eighteen which left him paralyzed. But only his body was paralyzed as he continued to live a varied, active, and independent life. He was an auctioneer and a trader. He has now traded this life for a better one, with a body that is without physical restraint or complications.

He has left behind many friends and family members. Four nephews: Ralph (Reba) Parish, of Damascus, Arkansas, Jerry Parish, of Clinton, Arkansas, Joe (Susan) Lesley of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and Lonnie Parish, of Houston Texas. Seven nieces: Linda (Quinton) Pennington, and Kathleen (Dave) Smith of Damascus, Arkansas, Mrs. Kenneth (Charlene) Parish, and Carolyn (Kenny) Lee of Bee Branch, Arkansas and Norma (Dave)Myhreberg, of Springs, Texas, Pauline (Carter) Tucker of Hartwell, Georgia, and Maggie Greer of California.

Pallbearers are: Joe Lesley, Steve Ragland, Quinton Pennington, Kenny Lee, Jerry Parish, Aaron Black,Dave Smith, Jodie Linn.

Honorary Pallbrarers: Ross Neal, Randall Kennedy, and H. C. Brock.

The family cordially invites to you to celebrate Harold's life at a visitation service to be Wednesday, August 18, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. and the funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Roller Funeral Chapel, in Clinton, Arkansas. The service will be conducted by Pastor Steve Stephens and music will be provided by Kathleen Smith and The Parish Sisters.
