Mrs. Bertha Gray Little, 71, died in a local nursing home Wednesday morning after a long illness. A member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Mrs. Little was born in Strong Feb. 10, 1894, the daughter of Frank and Mary Alice Duke Gray. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Wade Morgan of El Dorado, and Mrs. Farris Sawyer and Mrs. Mrs. Dick Balfe, both of Houston, Tex.; three sons, R. H. Little of Crossett, George Little of Kerrville, Tex., and Sgt. Jid Little of the U. S. Army in Viet Nam; five sisters, Mrs. M. W. Newsom of El Dorado, Mrs. Lillie Crist of Alice, Tex., Mrs. A. J. Dudry of Beaumont, Tex., Mrs. Birch Williams of Beeville, Tex., and Miss Willie Mae McWharter of Houston; five brothers, Jim Gray, J. B. Gray, P. D. Gray, Elvin Gray and Clarence Gray; all of Beeville; 12 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Pratt Funeral Home.
