SPRINGDALE - Hazel Jane Short, 82, of Springdale passed away Monday, July 20, 2015, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born Jan. 27, 1933, in Kingston, Arkansas to Albin and Victoria Norris Rogers. Hazel worked at Four State Poultry. She graduated from Kingston High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elby Short and two sons, Stanley Short and Marlin Short and seven sisters, and one brother that died at birth. Survivors include several nieces and nephews and her caregivers.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at 10 a.m. Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Ark. 72762.
