March 28, 1862 - February 28, 1953
Mrs. M. A. Dickerson aged 90 years died at her home in Bearden Saturday Feb. 28th. She was a life long resident of Bearden. She had been a member of the Methodist Church 62 years where she was active as a Sunday School Teacher until her health failed. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Eugene Wilson of Bearden, three granddaughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Gillette Las Cruces, N. Mex., Mrs. Kemy Mirise Roswell, N. Mex., Mrs. Chas. Culp of Rapid City, S. D. and five great grandchildren. Funeral was Monday 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church by Rev. Robt. Scott, Rev. Jno. Harget, Rev. J. R. Dickerson, and Rev. R. C. Walsh. Active Pall Bearers were Chas. Henry, Homer H. Jones, Jr., T. T. Stucky, J. D. Talbert, Lee Burleson, Warn Gassett, Chas. Gossett and W. H. Brooks. Burial was at Moss Cemetery by Benton Funeral Home. (Camden News - March 11, 1953)
