Jackie Cook, 92, of Hampton, AR went to be with the Lord March 3, 2013. She was a member of the Campground Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was born April 6, 1920 to Samuel Tolbert and Myrtle Hines Rowell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Cook.
Mrs. Cook is survived by a daughter, Bobbie Justice and her husband, Arlis, of Camden, AR; three granddaughters, Cindy Stafford of Camden, AR, Ginger Kitchens of Camden, AR, and Hope Mitchell and her husband, John of Weatherford, TX; five great-grandchildren, Brandon Avant and his wife, Melissa of Hampton, AR, Ssg. Brent Avant and his wife, Regina, of Clarksville, TN, Dustin Stafford and his wife, Ashley, of Camden, AR, Jack Mitchell of Weatherford, TX and Jade Mitchell of Weatherford, TX; seven great-great-grandchildren, Tyler Hearnsberger of Hampton, AR, Braxton Avant of Hampton, AR, Bronson Avant of Hampton, AR, Jordan Avant of Clarksville, TN, Khloe Avant of Clarksville, TN, Blayne Stafford of Camden, AR, and Libbie Stafford of Camden, AR.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, 6-8 p.m. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Means Cemetery near Hampton.
